I'm Karoleen Decastro

From 2008-2024, I worked as a web and software designer for design studios, consultancies, and tech start-ups.
I mainly focused on helping healthcare and small businesses grow before I branched out on my own in 2019.
I created LuminaryIQ because my career experience for businesses helped me zoom out and see them from all angles, and led me to my passion for helping small businesses more directly as a dedicated consultant.
Having lived and worked in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, NYC, San Antonio, and Wilmington, NC, in addition to various cities around the US and the world, I value how small businesses are the backbone that truly shape the culture and drive the economy of communities big and small.
I’m also a Trauma Informed Certified Coach (TICC) with training from Moving the Human Spirit and Lumia (both wonderful ICF-accredited programs), polyvagal-informed work with the Polyvagal Institute, and additional somatic parts work with The Embody Lab.
I know what it's like to build and grow a self-owned business based on passion, strengths and positive customer outcomes and it would be my honor to help you grow yours as well.
